Matt Cain Perfect

Some are calling this game the "greatest game ever pitched."

If you were like most of the world last night, you weren't watching as Matt Cain threw his perfect game.I have alerts set up on my phone for such occasions, but I didn't care to turn it on because last time a perfect game was about to happen, I jinxed it.

Cain wasn't the only Giant working last night. Melky Cabrera and Gregor Blanco made two great catches to keep Cain's game untarnished.
"Those were unbelievable catches," Cain said. "I mean that right there, that changes the whole thing." Blanco said of his catch: "I didn't think I was going to make it, but I did,"
Cain threw 125 pitches with 14 strikeouts to earn just the 22nd perfect game in the Majors. This year has been the year of the pitcher, as there has already been five no hitters.
