What to Watch Tonight- 100th Post!

This is my 100th post since starting this blog in late July. Thank you for the support and please tell your friends about the blog.

Lots to watch tonight. This week marks the end of the summer season and the beginning of the fall season, so there will be a lot of finales and premiers this week. This is a good week to own a television.

Bachelor Pad (ABC)- Season finale. Young people compete to earn $250,000 that they do not deserve. This people already had their shot on 'The Bachelor/Bachelorette' why give them a second chance to win something?

Miss Universe Pageant (NBC)- A lot of lonely men and little girls will be watching this show tonight. I do not get why these types of pageants are still being performed. I am sure I will be reading a lot of bad pun and semi-sexist jokes tomorrow as I look for the results tomorrow.

Kate Plus 8 (TLC)- Series finale. Ding dong the witch is dead! Kate cares little about her children and I am glad she can no longer whore them out, although I am sure she will find another way. Another thought, why is this channel stilled called TLC? TLC stands for The Learning Channel. The only thing I am learning is how not to raise my kids.

Rizzoli and Isles (TNT)- Summer finale. I just can't wait 'til the fall potion of this show begins, so I can continue to not watch it.

Monday Night Football (ESPN)- Season premiere. Patriots at Dolphins and Raiders at Broncos. A lot is riding on these games for me. My fantasy team had a poor performance this week due to Kerry Collins. I hope to gain some respect points tonight.

What to Watch Tonight- It's Labor Day!

Bachelor Pad (ABC)- The contestants pair up into couples. I guess ABC is trying to manufacture relationships now? Oh, wait. That is the entire purpose of the 'Bachelor' series. What is ABC's success ratio? I think the show 'Blind Date' had a better success ratio.

When Pop Culture Saved America: A 9/11 Story (Bio)- This just seems like exploitation of this infamous day.

American Chopper: Junior vs. Senior (Discovery)-Apparently the father/son duo has been feuding for a few years. I liked this show in 2003 when it first aired and it was just 'American Chopper'. Apparently this is a whole different series and the duo is now at each others throats.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians (E!)- "The Proposal." Kris Humphries proposes to Kim. Will she say yes? Oh, how I do hope.


Ridiculousness (MTV)- Rob Dyrdek attempts to rip-off 'Tosh.0' which is just a better copy of 'Web Soup'. I think I will pass considering that the viral videos featured in the promos are old news to anyone with an Internet connection.

Netflix: Spaceballs- This Mel Brooks spoof of 'Star Wars and other sci-fi films is perfect for those who don't want to spend their hard earned dollar on George Lucas newly altered, Blu-Ray release of the 'Star Wars' saga. A couple of more revisions and George Lucas should just rename his saga to 'Spaceballs.'

What to Watch Tonight- American Ninja Warrior!

Bachelor Pad (ABC)- The "guys and gals face a synchronized-swimming challenge." Seriously ABC? This is what you are trying to pass as television?
American Ninja Warrior (NBC)- Wow! I didn't know this was on NBC. I love this show. This is the finale in Japan. I have been a huge fan of 'Sasuke' which is basically a four level obstacle course. There has been 26 of these now and every single one has been thrilling.
Project Runway (Lifetime Real Women)- I am a sucker for any reality competition. I am steadily becoming a big fan of this show. Tim Gunn is so fabulous!
HGTV'd (HGTV)- 'HGTV'd' teams up with Ellen Degeneres to make over a military family's home. Are they going to put jeans and a vest on it?
Netflix: Louie (TV Series)- I started watching this today as I promised I would do. Netflix is streaming season one currently, which is 13 episodes. I have caught the first 4 episodes and this is a great way to get invested.

What to Watch Tonight- Superheroes and Trash

We are getting closer to the start of fall programming!


Bachelor Pad (ABC)- Season premiere. I don't watch these shows, so if anyone can clue me in I will post it on the site. Seriously, anything you say I will post. I don't care enough about this show to fact check.

Hoarders (A&E)- Saw a preview for this the other night and it looks fantastic. An older lady is hoarding in 16 lockers at a storage unit. I think this calls for a crossover with "Storage Wars." I think it'd be great to watch those guys bid on this crap.

Blazing Saddles (AMC)- A classic and a favorite of mine. Half of my jokes when I was twelve came from this movies. Come to think of it, not much has changed.

Superheroes (HBO)- This documentary is about 'Real Life Superheroes' also called 'Extreme LARPing.' When I used to do this as a kid I would get chased off and now these people are getting their own movie? I was ahead of my time.

Netflix: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring- After watching "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" this past weekend I was reminded of the brilliance of Andy Serkis. This is the only LOTR on Netflix, but it is a good reminder of a great character that he brought to life, Gollum.
